We want you to love what you ordered. If something is not right, we will do our best to make it right.
Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act
As a South African customer, you are protected by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). Under the CPA, you have the right to return goods and receive a full refund if the product is defective, not fit for purpose, or does not match the description provided at the time of sale.
7-Day Return Window (CPA Cooling-Off Period)
If you purchased a product as a result of direct marketing (e.g. via an email campaign or social media ad), you have the right to cancel the purchase and return the product within 7 business days of delivery — no questions asked. You will receive a full refund, including original delivery costs.
30-Day Return Policy (Change of Mind / Defects)
We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order. To be eligible for a return:
•            The item must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all accessories and tags included.
•            You must provide proof of purchase (your order confirmation email).
•            Change-of-mind returns are accepted, but return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives defective, broken, or not as described, please contact us within 30 days of delivery with:
•            Your order number
•            A description of the issue
•            Clear photos or a short video showing the problem
We will arrange collection at our cost and offer you a replacement, store credit, or full refund — whichever you prefer.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are defective:
•            Items that have been used, damaged, or tampered with after delivery
•            Items returned without original packaging
•            Items returned after the 30-day return window
How to Initiate a Return
1.         Contact us at info@mredgadgets.co.za or via WhatsApp +27 72 073 8794 with your order number and reason for return.
2.         We will respond within 1–2 business days with return instructions.
3.         Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days.
Refund Method
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Please allow 3–5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping Costs on Returns
•            Defective or incorrect items: We cover return shipping costs.
•            Change-of-mind returns: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
